What it is and how it fits a coding workflow
Moxby turns the browser into an agent workspace through an extension paired with a desktop companion. Its Mods can change or augment a live website, while Missions run autonomous workflows toward a defined KPI; supported authentication includes ChatGPT and Claude subscriptions, with OpenRouter for other models. This is adjacent to coding-agent tooling rather than a repository-first coding IDE. It is most useful when development, research, SEO or operations work happens inside web applications and needs context from the current page. Browser history, page content, desktop capabilities and connected accounts are sensitive, so review permissions and mission boundaries before enabling automation. Use a test site or staging environment for Mods that can mutate live pages.
